In terms of international cooperation information is provided with regard to the possibilities of participating in scholarship programs for education and research from the electronic systems of the Academic Exchange Service of Germany (DAAD), Austrian Science and Research Liaison Office – Sofia, the French Agency for Higher Education, the Institute of Advanced Learning in Switzerland, the Bavarian Centre for Higher Education Institutions, as well as from the Ministry of Science, Youth and Education and official EU web-sites. International scientific conferences are organised following different thematics and the upcoming calls on European scientific and technological development programmes are being sent.

TU-Plovdiv has laid down numerous relationships under the CEEPUS programme for exchange in Central and Eastern European universities in Prague, Barno, Vienna, Graz, Zagreb, Split, Mishkolz in the field of automatic control systems and computer systems and networks.
Since 2005 the Branch has taken part in the EC programme Leonardo da Vinchi for vocational training in two projects: Safety of Machinery and Elevator.
